Spirit Airlines announced new nonstop service from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport (MSP) to Detroit Metropolitan Airport (DTW). This new service will consist of one daily seasonal nonstop flight operating between May 22 and November.
“The addition of Detroit to the growing array of routes Spirit Airlines flies from Minneapolis-St. Paul International provides welcome new air service competition to and from the Motor City,” said Jeff Hamiel, executive director and CEO of the Metropolitan Airports Commission. “When airlines compete, consumers often benefit from lower fares as well as increased flight options.”
