Move over bologna, there’s a new deli in town. MSP MKT, a full-service marketplace and carvery, is now open in Terminal 2 across from Checkpoint 2. Enjoy thick-stacked deli sandwiches made with freshly shaved meats and gourmet cheeses as well as crisp salads and artisan pizzas and flatbread. Local produce is a focus of the new venue, which purchases from Minnesota farmers whenever possible.
On a health kick? Try the “All Day Energy” salad, a mix of romaine and baby greens, roasted artichoke hearts, sea-salted edamame, garbanzo beans, quinoa, English cucumbers, red onion and glazed walnuts—all topped with extra virgin olive oil and a sweet balsamic glaze.
Feeling spicy? Go for the sausage and piquillo pepper pizza with Italian fennel sausage, roasted piquillo peppers, fresh buffalo mozzarella, creamy fontina and basil. Breakfast options include several delicious flatbreads (classic bacon and egg; herb garden) and yogurt topped with fresh produce, dried fruit, nuts, granola and/or honey.
Whatever you’re in the mood for, it’s worth a stop at Terminal 2 to try out this new MSP gem.
