The New Year will bring an increase in some airport parking rates. Effective January 1, the daily maximum charge for General Parking will rise from $22 to $24 ($20-$22 for ePark® payment method). Short-Term Parking rates remain unchanged for the vast majority of customer stays. Employee rates will increase from $50 to $54 per month for airline industry commuters and tenant employee rates will rise from $37 to $40 per month.
These increases contribute to the ramps’ operating costs. The public parking increase will also help fund much-needed additional parking capacity at Terminal 1-Lindbergh.
Historically, parking rate increases have been less than 3% per year. “Value is top of mind when we consider rate increases,” says Arlie Johnson, Assistant Director of MSP Operations/Landside Operations. “We strive to keep them modest and are pleased to provide a safe and convenient parking option for airport employees and the public.”
