​Yesterday, Monday, December 29, AirTran Airways ceased to exist as it flew its final flight (#1) from Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International to Tampa Bay International.
What does this mean for Minneapolis-St. Paul International (MSP) and its customers?
All signage and online references have or will be removed over the next month. And anyone asking about AirTran Airways should be referred to Southwest Airlines, which acquired the 21-year-old airline in 2011.
