Hispanic Heritage Month: Spotlight on the Latino Pilots Association

In recognition of Hispanic Heritage Month, the MAC Office of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion honors the Latino Pilots Association.

Founded in 2015, the Latino Pilots Association is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed in its mission to inspire and support the Latin/a/e/o/x aerospace and aviation communities — further eliminating socioeconomic barriers through representation, financial support, education and mentorship.

The Latino Pilots Association has established key partnerships with both aviation- and non-aviation-related organizations and companies that allow the organization to make scholarships available to a diverse group of recipients. These scholarships help recipients further their careers in aviation-related fields.
