East 70th Street construction concludes between MSP terminals

A high-volume route between MSP terminals has reopened after a summer construction project required detours for some motorists.  

Road improvements were completed this month on East 70th Street, which is just east of Terminal 2 and connects 34th Avenue to Post Road in front of Signature Aviation. During construction, eastbound traffic to Post Road was reduced to one lane and westbound access to Terminal 2 was rerouted to Highway 5 and 34th Avenue South. 

The project included asphalt pavement reconstruction, a new bike lane and utility improvements.
